Most of us have a favourite go to dessert. After your meal, you may either fancy something refreshing, light fruit flavours. Whilst others would prefer nothing less than something sweeter like chocolate. France is known for incredible desserts to suit everyone’s taste buds. We have gathered a selection of desserts you should try whilst in France.
This dessert can either be sweet or savoury. Crepes are served with variety of fillings. The common fillings for sweet crepes can include Nutella spread, sugar (granulated or powdered), maple or golden syrup, lemon juice, whipped cream, sliced soft fruits and the list goes on. On the other hand, common savoury fillings are cheese, ham, and eggs, ratatouille, mushrooms, and various meat products.
This dessert has a contrast of subtle caramelised topping and a smooth creamy custard base. Go on and crack into this sweetness.
Madeleines are classic shell like shaped, small bake French cookies. Give yourself a little treat.

Why not add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or Chantilly cream to this dessert.
Light choux pastry filled with cream and drizzled with melted chocolate.
